Pete’s Tips
- Pete has 5 things to consider if you are an ocean cruiser considering a river cruise for the first time.
- No sea days / most days are port/village intensive
- Research your destination
- Smaller guest numbers with mostly an international mix of guests (alternatively some lines sell mostly to one market).
- What do you want included? Some lines include everything, others give more flexibility
- Evenings are relaxed with light entertainment.

- Matthew from Cruising with Matthew reviews his February 2020 cruise on P&O Oceana, which turned out to be one of her last cruises before retiring from P&O.
