The Big Cruise Podcast is deliverd by a small team of volunteers who are passionate about cruise. 

Host

Baz has decades of experience within the travel industry. Having worked for some of the major cruise lines he stopped counting cruises at 50. He still works within the Australian cruise industry, running the podcast as a passion project.

Having spent more than 40 days cruising on the “Dam Ships” of Holland America Line. He has also personally experienced, A-Rosa (Donna, Silva & Viva), APT (Queen Eleganza), Carnival (Spirit, Legend, Splendor, Horizon & Vista), Celebrity (Solstice), Celestyal (Crystal & Olympia), Cruise & Maritime Voyages (Astor & Vasco da Gama), Dream Cruises (Genting & Explorer), Hurtigruten (TrolFjord), Norwegian Cruise Line (Epic & Encore), P&O Cruises (Aurora), Princess (Majestic & Sky), Royal Caribbean (Voyager & Spectrum), Ponant (Le Ponant & Austral), Silversea (Wind), Star Cruises (Virgo), Tauck (Savor) & Windstar (Wind Surf).

Baz’s favourite recent cruise experience was a self-drive Le Boat holiday in the Venice Lagoon. His top 3 ocean ships are Wind Surf, ms Amsterdam, and Le Ponant.

He is widely regarded as a voice for the industry, on air weekly at 6PR Radio (Nine network) and contributing to Cruise Passenger Magazine, The West Australian and more.

Chris is a regular contributor to the podcast. Maritime author and historian Chris Frame has been researching Cunard since he was a boy, having first become fascinated by Cunard’s QE2 during a 1995 cruise.

He makes regular appearances on television news, documentaries and radio as a subject matter expert for ocean liner history, cruise ships and aviation. Recent highlights include BBC’s Heir Hunters, Sky News and ABC’s conversations.

Chris is a contributor to various magazines and other publications including Cruise Passenger, Cruising News & Pictorial, Ships Monthly, Sea Breezes, Porthole, Cunard Passages, Australian Aviation, Airliner World and Airports of the World.
