  • In June of 1911 White Star Line’s Olympic (Titanic’s sister ship) set sail on her inaugural transatlantic voyage.

Cruise News:

  • Royal Caribbean announced 2 Quantum class ships for Sydney in 2021/22 and Radiance of the seas from Brisbane.
  • Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady floats out, and moved from dry dock for fitting out. Valiant lady will sail the Mediterranean once launched.  
  • Cunard extends pause to 1 Nov 2020 for Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, whilst Queen Elizabeth’s Australian season expected to commence 23 Nov 2020.
  • NCL cancels Norwegian Jewels 2020/21 season down under.
  • Hurtigruten’s Midnatsol to be refreshed and renamed Maud prior to her inaugural season sailing from Dover (UK).
